Pig fencing kit for 200 metres of three strands of wire fencing. This kit gives you a complete kit for fencing pigs, you can also add more wire and posts to cover greater distances.

Both AN12 and AN24 Energisers can be powered by either 12v battery or mains

Stranded galvanised wire is the best line to use with pigs as it is very easy use and very conductive.

If you are using this kit with mains power you will need the addition of lead out cable, measure the length you need from the mains supply to the fence.

If you are using 12v you will need to purchase a battery

The benefit of electric fencing for pigs is that it can easily be moved. Pigs can you good at clearing areas out and digging down so its a good idea to move the pen once in a while if you can.  Pigs will sometimes dig under fences, so it’s best to use a very tight strand of electric wire at around knee level to the pig to discourage it.  It’s important to check your fence regularly though to make sure it is taught, off the ground and supplying a sufficient enough level of voltage.
