Feeding & Drinking technology

Livestock Drinkers: Livestock drinkers are typically large troughs or bowls that can hold a lot of water. They are often made of durable materials like plastic or metal, and they may have features like automatic float valves that keep the water level full.

  • Automatic water drinkers: These are attached to a water source and provide a continuous supply of fresh water for horses. They come in different styles, like corner drinkers, nose fill drinkers, and tip-over drinkers.
  • Water troughs: These are large containers that can hold a lot of water. Horses can dip their muzzles into the trough to drink.
  • Buckets: Horses can also drink from buckets, although this is usually only done when they are being transported or when their stall is not equipped with a drinker.
