The HT8/80/15 configuration is the most commonly used livestock fence in the UK. It comes in a variety of different wire diameters, knots and in high tensile or mild steel but the 8 line wire, 80cm high with 15cm between the stay wires configuration is ideal for all types of livestock. This one is high tensile with a hinged joint knot.
HT8/80/15 is the most widely used specification of high tensile stock fence. Tornado HT Stock Fence is manufactured with high tensilewire which strains tighter than mild steel and so requires fewer intermediate posts, making it quicker to erect. It does not stretchwith weathering so does not need to be retightened annually.
